Waste X Project is a pro-poor enterprise that focuses on scaling up solid waste management in Zanzibar through a centre-of-excellence approach. The organization provides tools and resources to help communities collect, sort, and produce items that can be sold for profit at competitive prices compared to traditional goods. Waste X conducts training and educational programs to raise awareness about waste management and recycling practices. We also design and construct machines locally to support waste processing and recycling efforts.
